But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (NIV) At MBC we believe this verse means that we are called today to be Christ’s witnesses in Manassas, Virginia, The United States, and to the ends of the earth.
Food Pantry
Using your donations to change the lives of many. Items can be dropped off in marked containers in either building.
Suggested items:
- Canned meat such as beef stew, chili, chicken, tuna
- Canned vegetables such as green beans, corn, pintos, potatoes
- Canned fruit
- Pancake mix and syrup
- Canned tomatoes
- Dry beans
- Spaghetti sauce
- Dry pasta

- Mac & Cheese
- Peanut Butter

Food is distributed by walk-in at the back of the Rock Building on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 pm from September through May. During the summer months, food will be distributed on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesday of the month. Closed on holidays.
Help is needed to stock shelves and serve clients.
Clothes Closet
We provide clothing without cost to those in need in our community.
The Clothes Closet is distributing clothes by walk-in at the back of the Rock Building on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Closed on holidays.
Donation Guidelines:
If the items are not usable – please do not donate.
- CLEAN clothing – children to adults – in GENTLY USED CONDITION
- Zippers and buttons should be in place and working
- New socks and new underwear are greatly appreciated for children and adults
- PLEASE: NO household or decorative items, NO pillows or blankets are needed at this time, and NO grocery bags are needed

- The Pit Crew – weekly workers to sort and re-stock – day workers
- The Floor Crew – Wednesday night volunteers to assist clients

English for Speakers of Other Languages
The mission of ESOL is to help people new to the United States learn how to speak, read and write English. This is an outreach program of Manassas Baptist Church. We use our God-given gifts to help our students to adjust to the American lifestyle.
In Our World
Globally, MBC partners with numerous groups. These organizations provide relief to the poor; educate children; share the love of God; plant churches and provide pastoral and leadership training in remote regions of the world.
