    Frequently Asked Questions

    Attending a new church for the first time can be an intimidating process. In addition to some of the emotional anxiety we may encounter, there are logistical questions that we bring with us. Our Parking Team, Hosts and Greeters are expecting you and can assist you with any questions you may have. However, the following questions and answers may also be helpful as you anticipate your first experience at MBC.

    Where do I park?

    Guest parking is located behind the Sanctuary building, 8800 Sudley Road, and in front of the Rock building, 8730 Sudley Road.

    Where do I go first?

    Please check in at our Welcome Center in the Rock building if you have nursery age through 5th grade children. A Greeter will be happy to assist you with this process. 

    Where is the 9:00 am Traditional Worship?

    Traditional worship is located in our Sanctuary building, 8800 Sudley Road.

    Where is the 11:15 am Contemporary Worship?

    Contemporary worship is located in the Rock building – Worship Center, 8730 Sudley Road.

    Where and what time is Adult Bible Study?

    Our adult Bible studies are located in the Sanctuary building with classes at 8:15 (no childcare provided), 9:30, and 11am. Check at the Welcome Center located in the Sanctuary or Rock buildings and one of our Hosts will be happy to help.

    Where do I take my youth/teenagers?

    Bible study for youth, Wired Students, is located in the Rock building during both worship hours. Check in with a Host at the Welcome Center in the Rock building.

    What should I wear?

    You will see anything from shorts and flip flops to suits and ties. God is concerned about the condition of the heart, not the condition of the clothes and so are we. Feel free to dress in whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

    Connexions Class

    This class is for those desiring to know more about our community of faith and partnering with us in this journey of following Jesus.

    It is part of our ABCs: C – Connect in Community and is a required class before becoming a member. A pastor leads a discussion on helping people connect to MBC.
