So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

MBC Kids Handbook

Welcome to MBC Kids Ministry! We're so glad you're here. This handbook has been created to help you understand the heart, mission, and daily operations of our children's ministry. Whether you're a volunteer, parent, or team leader, this guide will provide everything you need to know about how we care for, teach, and nurture the children God has entrusted to us.

This handbook outlines our core values, ministry policies, safety procedures, classroom expectations, and volunteer responsibilities. It's designed to keep everyone informed and unified as we serve together with excellence and purpose.

Statement of Faith

At Manassas Baptist Church, our ministry to children is built on the foundation of our shared faith in Jesus Christ. The Statement of Faith reflects what we believe as a church and serves as the guiding truth behind everything we teach and practice in MBC Kids.

As volunteers and leaders, it is important that we not only know these beliefs but also live them out as examples to the children and families we serve. Our goal is to help every child encounter God’s love, understand His Word, and grow in their relationship with Jesus in a safe, joyful, and faith-filled environment.

By reviewing and affirming this Statement of Faith, you are joining us in our mission to share the Gospel and disciple the next generation with grace, truth, and integrity.

MBC Kids Behavioral Management Policy

The MBC Kids Behavioral Management Policy Manual is designed to provide clear, consistent, and Christ-centered guidelines for maintaining a safe, nurturing, and respectful environment for all children in our care. Our goal is to support each child’s spiritual, emotional, and social growth while ensuring that all interactions reflect the love and grace of Jesus Christ. This manual outlines proactive strategies for guiding behavior, procedures for addressing challenges, and expectations for volunteers and staff.
