This Spring, we're sending care packages to our college students — filled with encouragement notes, prayer, and treats — to remind them they are loved and supported by their church family.

How to get involved:
Sign up a student to receive a package
Write notes of encouragement
Donate shelf-stable snacks or small non-fragile goodies
Help pack the packages

Donations should be non-perishable and non-fragile — no liquids or anything that could melt in shipping. Shipping cost donations are also welcome.

Join us, Christmas Eve, December 24, 2025, at one or both of our evening services. Parking is available at both locations, making it easy to attend.

We will have our Family Service at 5:00 pm in the Worship Center at the Manassas City Community Center, located at 8730 Sudley Road.

Our Traditional service will be at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary at the church building located at 8800 Sudley Road.

We look forward to celebrating the birth of our savior, Jesus, with you, as your presence makes this special occasion meaningful for our community!

As part of the Branch of Love Program for Christmas of 2025, Manassas Baptist Church (MBC) teamed up with several other local churches to make Christmas brighter for 203 children of inmates incarcerated at the Prince William – Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center (ADC). MBC provided gifts for 34 of these children. All were delivered by 12/21/2025.

Besides the gifts that you provided, both children and guardians received handmade hats from the gifted people of Crafts for Christ. Thank you, Ellen Miller, Sharon Potter, Bill Miller, and Elysa Earle. Hand-made frogs, pigs, and Teddy Bears provided by members of the KFC Class and aprons provided by Donna Waller.

We’d also like to thank Ernie Newland and his UPS store, located across from the hospital, for his help in the shipping of gifts to 13 children and their 5 guardians.

Thanks to Maritza Neuman for her translation and delivery assistance to the families that spoke Spanish.

Thanks also to those who helped financially to fund some of the Bibles, books, gifts, and shipping.

Besides the children’s gifts, each guardian received an NIV Study Bible (NVI for Spanish-speaking), a Walmart gift card, treats, and Christian DVDs and/or Christian Books that could be shared with the children. The picture to the right shows these gifts.

Most guardians were typically not expecting to raise these children (especially alone), and the children were typically not expecting to have their parent(s) with them for Christmas. Some children were blessed to have loving grandparents and other relatives who stepped up to nurture another generation. You made Christmas brighter for these children who did nothing to cause the change in their circumstances.

The age of this year’s children ranged from 6 months to 15 years. Twelve children lived in Manassas. The remaining 22 children lived in Aldie=1; Alexandria=5; Culpeper=2; Front Royal=2; Martinsburg, WV=4; Midland=1; Spotsylvania=2; Triangle=2; Woodbridge=3.

Starting on Jan. 3, 2026, the Men's Fellowship will begin a new study series taken from the book of James. In The Book of James For Men, author and speaker Vince Miller explores vital spiritual elements essential to men of all ages and stages of life. This book-and-video-based study addresses the challenging issues we all encounter and teaches us to face them head-on in a godly way.

The Men's Fellowship meets on the first and third Saturday of each month, starting at 7:30 am and ending promptly at 8:30 am. We meet in the Metz Center, which is located beneath the chapel. Please get in touch with Mitch Meyers for further information at mensgroup@mbcnova.org.

Announcing BRANCH OF LOVE for Christmas 2025: You can make a real difference in a child’s life this Christmas.

The Branch of Love program provides Christmas gifts to children of those incarcerated at the local jail (The Prince William – Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center) and shares the Gospel message with Guardians:

The Branch of Love program is led by the local Good News Global Ministry chaplain. Last year, the program supported 322 children.

This fall, we want to bless our college students and remind them that they are loved and supported by their church family. Through Fall Pack and Pray, we’ll be sending care packages filled with notes of encouragement, prayer, and mail-safe snacks to let them know they are in our hearts.

Families of kids and youth are invited to join us after church on August 24, 2025, for food and fellowship.

We will have a time to recognize all our kids who are promoting to their next grade level for Sunday School and Bible Study, as well as hear about our upcoming ministry plans.

On June 7th at 3:oo pm join us for a delightful afternoon of fellowship, faith, and fun at our Ladies Tea Party! This year's theme is Spill the T.E.A. – Truth as we Encourage one Another. Come ready to relax and refresh your spirit as we enjoy catered refreshments, a wide variety of beverages (including options for non-tea drinkers), and a beautiful time of community.

On June 8th, MBC will celebrate all the graduates of 2025 (and winter of 2024) at both services. We want to present our High School, College, Master's, and Doctorate degrees to the church in their caps and Gowns!

We gladly accept donations of small, new, or gently used toys, LEGO blocks, school supplies, and other kid-friendly items for children ages 6 to 12. Please mark your donations with ‘New York’ and place them in the white bin labeled ‘New York Missions,’ located in the donation area next to the City's main office in the Rock building. 1. Take an Instruction Sheet and a Christmas Card from one of the Branch of Love Trees (age and gender of the child are on the card).
2. Call Wayne or Karen at 703-368-1303 to register your selection and get the gift information received from the child’s guardian.

Note: Christmas cards will be on trees by November 24th.

• Wrapped gifts should be returned by Sunday, December 8th, so that gifts can be shipped and/or delivered before Christmas.
